Our Digital Partnership with The Digital Hub
A bespoke digital platform built around the way our club operates.
Running a busy community rugby club involves much more than managing fixtures. We also need to look after members, events, ticket sales, sponsorship, volunteers, facilities and matchday operations. Previously, many of these activities relied on separate systems, spreadsheets and manual administration.
The Digital Hub worked closely with the club to understand these different requirements and bring them together within one connected system.
A system built around our club
Unlike a generic, off-the-shelf platform, our system has been developed specifically for Pocklington RUFC and can continue to evolve as the club's requirements change.
The platform brings together:
This gives the club one central place to manage information while making it easier for members, visitors, volunteers and staff to interact with us.
Improving the matchday and event experience
Supporters can purchase tickets online and receive a digital ticket containing a unique QR code. Tickets can then be checked quickly at the entrance using the club's scanning system.
The platform also supports tickets sold at the gate, helping the club maintain a clearer record of online sales, door payments and attendance.
For club members, the system can verify membership information and issue the correct member ticket, helping make entry simpler while ensuring that membership benefits are applied correctly.
Designed for the people who use it
A community sports club depends heavily on the time and dedication of staff and volunteers. The system has therefore been designed to be straightforward to use without requiring specialist technical knowledge.
Administrative tools, reports and matchday functions are brought together within a clear interface, reducing duplicated work and giving the club greater control over its information.
A local technology partnership
The Digital Hub is based at English House in Pocklington, making this a genuinely local partnership.
Its team has worked alongside the club throughout the project, developing new functions in response to real operational requirements rather than expecting the club to change how it works to suit a standard software package.
The result is a growing digital platform that supports the day-to-day running of Pocklington RUFC while providing a stronger foundation for future events, membership services and club development.
